Optifine connected texture does not work on blocks with non-standard heights

Describe the Bug
Connected texture of block with non-standard heights such as soul sand, honey block and mud does not work
Reproduction Steps
File: ctm.properties
matchBlocks=gray_concrete
method=overlay
tiles=0-16
connectBlocks=mud muddy_mangrove_roots soul_sand soul_soil honey_block slime_block
tintBlock=stone
layer=cutout
Expected Result
In the screenshot, all of 6 blocks should have white overlay. However, only 3 block with standard heights have white overlay.
