i've found that when you put foods like beef and pork into the path of the lava fan that when they are supposed to turn to cooked variants, they instead disappear. rocks and ores smelt just fine.

on a server, didn't test in ssp.

Fire instead of lava for foods.

@kreezxil let us know here if fire works okay for you. :) I'm still getting caught up on current design or I'd test it myself, though I'm more concerned that you have a /way/ for these things to cook than whether it is correct.
