Hemp are a 2 bloks crop, only the top part should be harvested in a farm. If you raise the harvester by 1 blok it will be fine.
i shifted mine up one block, it breaks the top part but doesn't get the actual hemp or the seeds
How did you solve it? For me it doesnt collect industrial hemp and nether wart. Works flawlessly for wheat and kelp. It harvests and replants the hemp/warts, but it doesnt collect them into the chest

If I remember correctly, if you harvest the bottom part of the hemp it breaks the plant before it has fully grown. You need to harvest only the top part (2nd block in height). For the nether warts, I believe it's the same problem, the crop is always harvested. The harvesters doesn't wait for the grown crop before harvesting, but no idea how to solve the problem for warts.
Yea it is properly placed, harvests only the top of hemp but still doesn't collect it. I had to raise it for kelp too so I know what you're talking about, but it just won't collect the items into the chest for some reason and I have to manually pick them up... Dunno why would it work for kelp without any issues, but not with hemp.
