It would be wonderful it the wood types from the Enviromental mod could be added to the recipes for casings.

I'm not sure what the issue here is.
The recipe accepts any forge:stripped_logs, meaning all logs can be used for the recipe if given the tag forge:stripped_logs.

Your issue could be that you are not using stripped logs, or (much less likely) the Environmental Mod does not give its wood types the tag.

Turns out it's the second one, thanks for giving me a place to look. I'll bring it up with the Environmental devs.
