This is so that life does not seem like honey. KA BOOM. And also, the steam could be powered by mechanical servants... Okay, I'm already dreaming. But expanding the functionality of a steam boiler would really make it the top of evolution, opening up completely new possibilities for energy transfer and immersion due to the need to monitor pressure.
