Describe the Bug

I've tested this in creative in a redstone ready flat world and it worked ayokay; however, in survival this piston goes DOUBLE the distance that is set in its sequenced gearshift. The correct distance is 4, but the piston will move 8, when it's 2 it'll move 4. This piston is attached to another identical piston setup (both with 48 extenders and going the same speed as set by rotational controller, 24) This second piston is immaculate and does its duty with extreme precision... as expected. It is further attached to a pulley mechanism which holds a mining rig. All powered by windmills. Again, this exact setup works perfectly fine in creative on a flat world but not in my survival world. They both lag equally as much when triggering the back/fore gearshifts.

Reproduction Steps

1. Design and produce a 3D mining rig fit for 3x3 chunk mining with 2 pistons set in the X and Z directions, 48 extenders each, 2nd piston is connected to the 1st fully stationary piston. 2nd piston is attached to self powered pulley frame which holds a 4x4 mining rig.
2. Line up with a chunk, can use 2nd piston fine, but attempting to use sequenced gearshift set to 4 on the mounted piston will, inexplicably, go 2x the distance measured in the sequenced gearshift.
3. if can't reproduce in creative, go into survival, perhaps near lots of entities? My game isn't particularly laggy.

Expected Result

Piston should go the expected measurement, 4m/4 blocks like its counterpart

I will mention additionally that the entire rig starts with the miner directly over the corner where you see the 4x4 holes dug. It goes 8 blocks out from that, meaning 12 blocks from the chunk border where it started.

It looks like you have an analog speed controller that doubles the speed, of course your piston will move twice as much. If not, send a schematic of you whole contraption.
