Elevator Cabin disappearing

Describe the Bug
random bug that happens by leaving the world and then restarting, really annoying in survival. entire cabin will be deleted, elevator cable will just connect to the block below him. cabin entirely disappears, no visual glitch. might have something to do with entity despawning, idk. really annoying since I am using no other mods, please look into it. (it could also have other causes than leaving the world and reloading, i can’t seem to actually trigger it on purpose. had to rebuild the whole cabin twice and it still happens.
Reproduction Steps
1.build elevator (with the contraption control!)
2.make at least 2 stations
3.use it as one normally would
4. leave world
5. rinse and repeat until its gone
...
Expected Result
elevator disappears (redstone contact including all blocks glued to it)

This happened to me as well. At first i thought also that the elevator cabin was gone and that the elevator cable was connected to the ground below the cabin. But then i noticed that the cable was actually not connected to the ground floor, instead it looked like it was going through the ground some where below the elevator shaft. So i dug below the floor in the ground and found the cabin maybe 30 or 40 blocks below in the middle of stone blocks. Why it did that, i dont know. I was able to get into the cabin and select a floor. The cabin moved back into its former position and was functioning normally after that. I'm not quite sure but i think my problem is related to this one. I was building the elevator on a server and i was using other mods though. sorry for my bad english.

Can confirm. Absolutely no clue why it drops to some arbitrary Y level but it does! Remedied by calling the elevator with a red stone pulse thank you very much.
