Replacing the "minecart" entity does not work when using Create

Describe the Bug
Is the entity "minecart" being replaced in Create? I made my resource pack using "CEM Optifine" and it is with the Create mod that my new "minecart" model is not displayed. Everything works fine without the "Create".
