Attack Mode Deployers Dealing Damage of Last Equipped Weapon

Describe the Bug
Unequipped deployers set to attack mode who have previously been given a weapon, seem to deal as much damage as the unenchanted base weapon of what it was once holding. The effect seems to go away once you log out and back in to the world (singleplayer)
Reproduction Steps
- Place a deployer with rotational energy supplied
- Give it a weapon
- Take away the weapon, with either your hand or a chute or funnel, just not instantly
- to test stand in front in survival mode or place mobs in front of it
...
Expected Result
Damage will be dealt equal to the damage the weapon the deployer last held (sharpness, smite, bane of arthropods won't add any damage)

Additional Context
I was just trying to set up a mob killer for a husk farm which drops zinc in the datapack I made for the create mod, and I noticed the deployer killing mobs in 3 hits, which I investigated further.
