Mechanical Block Belt

Describe the Suggestion
The Mechanical Block Belt (MBB) is a side-grade to the Mechanical Belt.
Similar to a Mechanical Belt it is placed by attaching it to a pair of shafts.
Unlike a Mechanical Belt it has several differences, as follows:
- The MBB only holds items which are block items, items which can be placed as blocks.
- Each item attached to the MBB is displayed using it's full size block model instead of it's item model.
- Each "meter" (block) of MBB only holds one item.
- Items which reach the "output" end of an MBB are tossed off as falling block entities, instead of as item entities.
- Falling block entities which collide with the MBB become attached to it if there is space.
Each MBB item is crafted by using a Spout to filling a Dried Kelp with 10mB of Honey.
Using a Wrench on an MBB toggles it between it's normal mod and it's much more SU-intensive block pickup mode, where it will mine, with Silk Touch, any block in front of it's "input" end.
As a fun Easter egg, block-like Shulker mobs will think of empty spaces on an MBB as an acceptable places to teleport to.
Falling block entities are the vanilla Minecraft entity type used for falling sand, falling gravel, falling concrete powder, etc.
