Describe the Suggestion

I want the old way of reversing the flow of pumps to be brought back into Create 5.1. Create 5.1 has been a great update but the new way pumps flow is reversed using deployers is both annoying to setup and inelegant. The old way was perfect not only making sense but also being easier to do, requiring only a gearshift to accomplish. it made my pipe networks more compact when needing to reverse the flow of my liquids was a common accourance. now the new way is bulky, hard to set up and expensive, and just downright looks uglier. I really hope you consider bringing back the old way of reversing flow in the pumps, if you don't all well it's not the end of the world I just think it would improve create if you did. thanks for reading, and thank you for the fantastic mod.

Perhaps a compromise could be reached, where Redstone is be used to reverse the pumps. If a pump was used with a gearshift, it's likely the Redstone was already there to reverse the gearshift. Simply running it to the pump would allow it to preserve both the current behavior (where direction doesn't affect rotation) and the original behavior (where you didn't need a bulky deployer to reverse a damned pump).

the change to pumps should be undone, there are machines people have designed with the expectation of reversible pumps.
