Different orientations for rotation speed controller

Describe the Suggestion
This has been suggested before, but was closed by the inactive status, which I find weird, it's a suggestion and you read it. Not a bug. Anyway, rotation speed controllers should be able to be oriented upside down and horizontally on 6 faces. It makes sense as stated elsewhere because there's already a bracket that holds the gear; therefore it wouldn't look odd. Aside from the fact that floating gears exist already because Minecraft.
This would improve the compaction of many designs and allow for more easily accessible and compacted mechanisms under floors and inside walls. It also would open up new avenues for the transference of rotation because the different orientations would allow a vast number of combinations outside of the simple vertical orientation. Many types of elevator, walkers, and other moving contraptions would benefit from this by removing many of the restrictions around the vertical gear.

Additional Context
Extended gears hasn't updated to 0.5.1, so I'm replacing many speed controller gears with a speed controller because I can, but this one area is directly under a floor and I can't easily fit a speed controller because there's a darn-tootin windmill in the way.
