#5026 Look at this topic, it seems to me that most of the lags are taken because of this. I think you need to add something like EntityCulling only for mechanisms.

I dont know what mods you use but:

  • remove optifine
  • use rubidium for optimization
  • use oculus + oculus flywheel compat for shaders

yes. i use Rubidium and oculus flywheel + oculus.

It is impossible to play when on my powerful computer the fps drops from 1200 to 100-130 where there are mechanisms, for weak computers it drops to 10-20 fps.

There is definitely a rendering issue. If i try a world with many contraptions and teleport thousands of blocks away, I still get 20-ish FPS. This only seems to happen with Create 0.5.1 + Rubidium. Something to do with the new integrated Flywheel perhaps?
