1.20.1 crash

Describe the Bug
When I lower a mechanical piston (with more than 2 length) my game crashes and keeps crashing until I uninstall the mod load the world, which deletes many blocks and then reinstall it. This still doesn't fix the crash but does mean I can play. This crash also happens with any other block that lowers something, rope pulley etc. This might be something to do with the mods.
Reproduction Steps
- Load game
- Place mechanical piston with 2 or more length
- Start to lower it
- This should lead to a crash and when trying to reenter, it crashes again
...
Expected Result
A corrupted world where the only fix I can find is to delete half of the blocks in my game.

The game crashed whilst unexpected error
Error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: null
please remove starlight. it is incompatible with create 0.5.1 and has become unnecessary because minecraft 1.20.1 has a new lighting engine implementing the techniques from starlight
