Crashes on Startup

Describe the Bug
Every time I launch Minecraft 1.19.2 with the create mod installed it crashes immediately, going back to the launcher with an error code 1. I have no other mods installed, and the game functions completely fine without Create installed.
It does not generate a crash report, however I will copy the log file generated if that is of any help.
I have attempted installing both 0.5.1B as well as 0.5.1C, both of which to the same effect.
Reproduction Steps
- Install Forge (I've installed multiple versions for 1.19.2, all give the same result.)
- Install Create
- Launch Game
- Crash w/ Error Code 1
Expected Result
I really just want the game to actually launch

Mod Version
0.5.1c
Minecraft Version
1.19.2
Forge Version
43.2.21
Other Mods
No other mods, solely Create 0.5.1
Additional Context
While I tried launching primarily on Forge 43.2.1, I also tried 42.2.20, and 43.2.0, as well as giving upping the RAM Forge used from 2 to 4 (the -xmx2 thing), both of which had no change on the outcome. I've even gone about updating the version of Java I use, too.
It does not even reach the loading screen, the launcher closes, then reopens a few moments later saying "exit code: 1"
sorry my b still kinda new to github posting

screw it im attaching a file, lets see if that works
crash-2023-08-09_14.01.43-client.txt
ive been copying the entire links this whole time, i dont know why they wont work
https://mclo.gs/q5J5HWy
PixelatedPerfection - when you copy your links, they end up like: [the actual link url](the text "URL")
.
The actual url goes in the parenthesis. The way you're putting them ends up making a url that looks fine, but just links to https://github.com/Creators-of-Create/Create/issues/url
.
it doesnt give a crash report, I said this, which is why I provided the log file instead
Yes, I can provide the other logs from my earlier attempts today if that would help any
would you be willing to try the prism launcher to see if it provides better feedback?
i did not know this, lol, will be back with an update once ive tried again
Okay so I tried launching it with Prism, and it gave me the error of:
This instance is not compatible with Java version 8. Please switch to one of the following Java versions for this instance: Java version 17 Go to instance Java settings to change your Java version or disable the Java compatibility check if you know what you're doing.
so I'm going to try updating java again
alright, i tried changing it to another java executable, same error as before
settings > java for the global setting but it can also be configured per instance of course
i am on linux and for me it is /app/jdk/17/bin/java i am sure it is much different on windows
for me its C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Oracle/Java/javapath or C:/Program Files/Java/jre-1.8/bin, both of which result in the same error
I should note I'm using the create mod files on my computer for this, in case that is of any importance
edit:
I used the built in install mod function in prismlauncher, same result
alright so another detail:
I launched it without mods, and it still gave me the same error in prismlauncher
javaw.exe (the only exe file that either of the two destination folders use)
if it helps any, heres the full prism error log:
https://gist.github.com/PixelatedPerfection/e44f0c71e5adb197332585535b51c0b9
it even gives the error without using forge
ok the link doesnt work. but you need the full path to the java executable otherwise you will get the system default which in your case appears to be java 8
oh i've been doing that, i just didnt think I had to list those here
both directories lead to a javaw.exe, which afaict are effectively the same when i press the test button
ok the link doesnt work
fixed link (hopefully):

I have never used windows and i have been in this business for over 40 years. so unfortunately i cannot provide guidance for updating java. but that is clearly the crux of the issue.
Alright so I managed to install Java 7 (though it was a bit of a pain to find)
the game actually launches now, thanks!
a lot of people use https://adoptium.net/
alright (so sorry to keep doing this but) another problem has popped up
