Describe the Suggestion

EMI now supports forge and has a seemingly pretty good api; having support for create recipes in EMI without needing to load JEI in parallel would be nice.

EMI already has full support on fabric, so that can be used as a base. There's a lot of code that can be shared between the JEI and EMI compat, so merging a lot of it would be ideal.

+1 very excited for this!

running JEI with my massive modpack is quite heavy to load on join and laggy - EMI runs far smoother
running them in parallel is likewise heavy, would so love to run EMI independently for Create recipes

This issue was closed as completed a couple months ago, but I'm not seeing any commit referencing native EMI support being ported from the fabric version of create...

Is this something was was added in a private dev branch or was it decided to not support emi natively on forge/neo versions?

All suggestions were closed since they should be done via the discord bot instead

As for native emi support, it's been on the planning board for a while but before it can be ported to forge it needs to be unified a bit more so maintaining it isn't as hard as it currently is on fabric

At the moment there unfortunately isn't any other method apart from the discord bot system, however there have been some ideas thrown around for making it less reliant on joining the discord server
