Describe the Suggestion

as the title might suggest, they are very similar in use to mechanical belts
they are installed on cogwheels instead of shafts, and have more placement freedom
they can be installed on more than two cogwheels at once and can do gear ratios (mm yummy su)
they also arent solid, you can walk through them
for decoration you can use mechanical belts on them to make them look like small belts (like what the elevator pulley uses)
