extreme lag when water wheels are placed

Describe the Bug
100 fps before water wheels are placed
1 wheel drops it to 54fps
2 wheels drop its to 32fps
3 wheels drop it to 22fps
4+ wheels averages to 8-14fps
As soon as waterwheels are taken down jumps back up to 100+fps

Thought I'd add that I'm having this issue as well. /flywheel backend instancing
worked for me, but only if I turn shaders off.
I'm on 1.20.1 with Iris 1.6.4, Sodium 0.4.10, Indium 1.0.21, and Lithium 0.11.2.

That's due to flywheel disabling itself when you have shaders on, install iris flywheel compat to fix that

Closing due to not being a bug, flywheel optimizes rendering of create blocks if you don't turn it off, try instancing or batching and see what works best for you
