Placing a hand crank crashes the game (1.15.2)

In 1.15.2 placing down a hand crank crashes the game. I haven't had much time to play around with the mod, but twice now I've had crashes due to the hand crank, and reloading the world just crashes the game again.
It's a compatibility issue with IR, see #173
issue #173 has been closed due to this issue no longer occurring in the latest versions of create, IR and JEI.
