Deployers do not place blocks correctly on minecart contraptions

Describe the Bug
Deployers will place blocks in an improper manner in cardinal directions. (North, East, South, West.) However, they function normally when they're placing blocks up or down.
Reproduction Steps
- Launch ATM 9, with create version 0.5.1f.
- Place deployers on a cart contraption in any cardinal direction.
- Allow the contraption to move forward.
Expected Result
Deployers are usually supposed to place blocks in front of them with a gap of one between them and the block they place. That is what I expected.

Sorry if it sounds presumptuous or something like that, but I saw several issues related to this bug, and I see that they are all a few months old, could someone tell me how often they update the mod?
I also experienced this issue. It is not limited to minecart contraptions. Here is a short video showing a minimal reproduction with a mechanical piston on MC 1.20.1 and Create 0.5.1-f
The video looks normal. Yes, there is a one block gap between the non-hand part of the deployer and the placed block, but not between the hand and placed block. As far as I can tell, the video has everything acting as it should.

That's not right. Pondering the deployers makes the intended behavior clear.

The ponder means that it will place the block one block away from itself(the second block space from itself). The wording of the ponder is confusing because it is only correct if you think of it a certain way.

Correct. That's exactly what I mean and is exactly why the behavior shown in the video I provided is not right. The deployer is not meant to place blocks any closer then that, which is exactly what it is doing. You should look at the video again, and specifically look at the deployers that are placing blocks on the sides of the contraption.

Ok, I think it all depends on which deployer you're talking about. Can you take a picture of the contraption from the video(like a screenshot of a point in the video), circle which deployer is messing up, and post it? That might help.
EDIT: I didn't read the part about rewatching the video before replying. Doing so now.

I got it. I can see that the deployers on the left are placing blocks right next to them, instead of a block away. I hadn't noticed that before. Maybe the code in the mod says to try to place it in the right spot, but it's doing right next to it because of some kind of glitch. Definitely a bug.
I can confirm this bug as I also reported it here.
I am currently playing 2 seperate modpacks one in minecraft 1.18.2 (create 0.5.1.f) where i am experiencing this same exact bug, the modpack is called deceasedcraft, and im playing a homemade modpack with some friends on 1.19.2 (create 0.5.1.f as well but the 1.19.2 version) where i haven't used sideways deployers yet but i am running into this issue eve with a downward facing deployer
