Chute and funnel take items from a conveyor belt at the same time in this setup, causing a duplication glitch.

Describe the Bug
While trying to come up with a decently compact batch-washing/smelting contraption, I've stumbled upon a duplication glitch. It happens when a chute on top of a conveyor belt takes items from it (with the help of an encased fan pulling items up) at the same time a brass funnel also takes the items from the belt.
Reproduction Steps
- Seems you need a chute, and a (brass?) funnel.
- Make sure the chute is on top the conveyor belt, and takes items up with an encased fan.
- On the same conveyor belt "block", put a (brass) funnel.
- When an item passes by (an stackable one, I believe), both the chute and the funnel take the item(s), duplicating them.
I've attached a video that shows the setup a bit better explained, my english sucks.
Expected Result
Well, this setup was to be used as a compact batch-smelting contraption, which would output the smelted items from the bottom (so it does not get jammed with unsmelted items in the chute that have nowhere to go). It actually works, but unfortunately also duplicates the item.

The video shows the setup and the glitch in action.
