Train randomly stopping when sat in a seat

Describe the Bug

When I am riding a train in Create, specifically when I am sat in a seat, the train randomly comes to a stop. It shows the speed bar as still moving, albeit the train is not. When exiting the seat, the train jolts forward at the speed indicated on the bar. Only way to fix is to stand and deal with losing contraption controls.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Create a very, VERY large rail network.
  2. Create a contraption using the train station, and drive it around for a bit.
  3. If not found, create more rail based contraptions.

Expected Result

I did not expect the train to just blatantly stop for no reason, but it shows that they have really good brakes.

I also had such a problem, I searched the whole Internet in an attempt to solve it. I found the solution myself, but you won't like it.
I apologize in advance, I am not a native speaker and use a translator to write to you.
After trying many ways, I found the right solution. I installed the "FTB chunks" mod on the build (SteamPunk 1.19.2). After that, I wrote the parameters in the configs so that Forceload would have more chunks (500 for myself, since the assembly is on my server) and allocated the entire railway. After that, all my problems stopped.
I understand that this method requires powerful hardware, but I didn't think of anything more. And here I have not found a solution.

So, to be clear, you made it so that the entire rail network is always loaded?!

try disabling any mods that modify chunk loading, couldn't reproduce

I have this exact issue on my 1.20.1 world, and it still happens with automated trains, even when I am not sat in a seat! It seems to happen whenever my large factory is loaded in (there are a lot of contraptions there) or when my large station is loaded in (there are a lot of display boards and mechanical belts there).

When not sat in a seat, and in an automatic train, it continues to move but there are major visual glitches and I end up standing in another part of the train (further back), once it has stopped in a station and everything has gone back to normal.

I really hope this gets fixed in the next update, as it makes my metro a lot less usable.

Edit: I am using create 0.5.1f and I have steam n' rails

Issues here as well. A scheduled train will seem to start fine on a multiplayer server. Then randomly just stop on the track and not move until I get off. Quite an irritating series of events. Only when I get out of the seat will it then continue on.

Even while just standing on the train the graphical glitches happen and I am left stranded on the track.

The Steam & Rails dev said this is a Create issue here, and I can confirm it wasn't fixed after taking out that mod on one of my servers.

Ok, I have captured a video of the glitch happening on my rail network and attached it here.
It seems to happen at the same places every time, sometimes when loading in large structures, sometimes just in random places. It even happens when the train is controlled via a schedule (as shown in the video)

In the video, I am sat in a seat so the train stops. However, the glitch still happens when not sat in a seat, but the train doesn't stop. Instead the carriage you are standing in flickers in and out of existence and you are booted off the train if it goes round a bend while in this state.

This glitch REALLY sucks because it means I have to walk a lot of the time, which is not fun. I just want to use my trains for more than 2 mins without them kicking me off :(

Also, I am playing on a multiplayer server and the number of players online (rarely more than 2) doesn't seem to affect the glitch.
