World Crashes upon world load or world creation

This is the first time I've had Minecraft on a PC so maybe something went wrong but I recently got Minecraft on my PC about two or three weeks ago. I got a mod pack (Chosen's Modded Adventure) since it seemed to run well with my PC, but on Sunday (the 7th of January), my game kept crashing whenever I tried to load the world. Here is what happens.

  • I open CursForge and select the mod pack to play
  • The game loads and I see the title screen
  • I click singleplayer
  • I select my world
  • It tells me "reading world data" and never loads
  • It crashes and tells me "OpenJDK Platform Binary is not responding", giving me the option to close the window or wait
  • It takes me to the Minecraft Launcher saying my game crashed followed by "Exit code: -805306369"

Please help me, I've been trying for a while now to get my world back since it's my first modded survival and I've been asking for help everywhere.

check your logs folder to see if there is a log (latest.log). also check your crash-reports folder to see if there is a crash report. post them. we cannot help you without some information to go on. also make sure you are using java 17 (this is the version mandated by mojang for minecraft more recent than 1.16.5)

How would I do that? I'm not really a techy person.

extrastorage is failing. it seems config file extrastorage-server.toml is corrupted. you might want to delete it so it can be regenerated.

use your the windows file explorer search function to locate it
