Furnace engine and flywheel not working create 3.2

Describe the Bug
Me and my friend have a server that we have been playing on using the new tardis mod, along with a bunch of other dimension mods. We decided to add create as well since the tardis mod is compatible with FE, and we needed a new power generator. Unfortunately, after crafting up the flywheel and furnace engine and putting in fuel & something to smelt, the flywheel did not turn. I even tried manually turning the wheel with a hand crank, but it did not work. The little visual shaft on the output side of the wheel would turn, but the wheel itself remained stagnant. I am not sure if you guys broke the furnace when you removed it in favor of the steam engine, but it is a little disappointing to not have access to either.
Reproduction Steps
- Placed a furnace
- Put a furnace engine onto the furnace
- Added the flywheel to the furnace engine
- Placed Iron Ore and Coal into the furnace and nothing happened
...
Expected Result
I was expecting the engine to run, and yet the flywheel does not turn.

I am aware that it is no longer supported, I was just hoping to find out if it was any mods I had installed or something that was causing the issue.
