the furnaces from Iron Furnaces are not working with the steam engine

Describe the Bug
When I place down any furnace from the Iron Furnaces mod I can't connect the furnace engine to the flywheel. In the configurations I could find the Iron Furnaces mod, but it doesn't work. When I upgrade a regular furnace into a iron furnace the furnace engine drops itself, but you could still break it, but it will not be connected to the flywheel.
Reproduction Steps
1.place down any furnace the Iron Furnaces
2.place down the flywheel
3.can't place a furnace engine on the furnace
...
Expected Result
A flywheel with more kinetic energy.
