I tested animals,boat and falling sad.They can all stay on the structure.But only the minecart can't stay on the moving structure.I don't know if it's a bug or a feature

As of 0.3c, minecarts can now collide with any contraption except those which are themselves mounted on minecarts. Hope this helps!
