Could not find if anyone had reported this issue, but I found out why it was happening to us.

So if you ride a train, regardless of speed, you will be periodically kicked out of the seat, making you get run over by the moving train, and having to get back inside somehow.

We run a whitelisted server with our own custom vanilla+ modpack https://modrinth.com/modpack/dragon-claw-persistent/versions - and had just converted the server from Fabric to Forge, which went well. Due to burnout, we hadn't played for like.. half a year? and when returning to the server, I noticed the train kept kicking me off at random, which it never did before. I seemed unable to find anything about it through my google searches, and attributed it to the modloader change based on assumption. Turned out I was wrong though.

My friend runs the server 24/7 on a dedicated server through MineOS on a Linux machine, along with a bunch of other services. Minecraft has been dedicated a healthy amount of memory, as well as processing power. A while back, we had to throttle the download speeds of the other services, as it was making the game servers unplayable. Turned out, he had done so... but set the limit to 2 gigabit, two 0's too many xD

After fixing the throttle, trains have stopped kicking you off, but it does pose a bit of a question: Is it possible to implement a safeguard against this, so players don't run the risk of being randomly kicked off the train whenever the server chokes?
