Describe the Bug

When i launch Minecraft with ONLY Create it crashes with the error code 1.
I use Curseforge, MC Version 1.20.1, Forge version 47.2.0, Java Version 17

the crash occurs in atio6axx.dll which is your graphics driver. maybe update it

Make sure you update your graphics drivers from AMD's website. Don't use Windows Update/Device Manager.

Wait so minecraft uses my integrated GPU (AMD) and not the RTX? do you know how i can change that?

Make sure you have installed drivers from Nvidia's website first of all.

Then go into the graphics page in Windows Settings, then click "browse", then add javaw.exe and set it to high performance.

To find javaw.exe, launch vanilla Minecraft, then open Task Manager, then right click on the OpenJDK process and click 'open file location'.

Still crashes after GPU is set to my RTX 3050ti and i even updated the drivers today

It is still using ur amd graphics, so something is not set up right

It's still seemingly using your AMD GPU. To be clear, does this happen on Forge without Create? I noticed that Forge has an announcement in their Discord sever informing people that they may need to do a clean install of their NVIDIA graphics drivers.

Have you done all this?

1. Find your modding folder location - In the Curseforge app press the options button at the top (3 dots), then press 'open modding folder'.

2. Saving folder location - At the top of the window, left mouse click the top location bar in the empty space to the right of any text. Press CTRL+C together to save this location.

3. Open the graphics settings window - Use Windows search > the text 'GPU' - and click on 'Graphics Settings'.

4- Add Java executables

• Click the 'Browse' button below the text 'Add an app'.
• In the folder window left mouse click the top location bar in the empty space to the right of any text.
• Press CTRL+V together to paste the folder location and then press enter. In the search box top/right search for "javaw.exe" (keep the quotes).
• Add each javaw.exe as an entry in the GPU menu.

5. Check options - For each of the newly added javaw.exe items - click on the item from the list and then the Options button. Check that either the only options are your graphics card, or that it's selected as the option to be used.

It is set in the Settings on High Performance and i downloaded the newest drivers today from NVIDIAS website cause i am not a big fan of Geforce Experience

That's Java 8. Create is not available for the old versions of Minecraft that use Java 8.

I advise testing without any mods to narrow down the issue, and then doing what I said to get the correct javaw.exe to use your NVIDIA GPU.

Now its working sorry i thought you meant the javaw.exe that is usedto run java in general. Working now thank you guys for your help.
