Massive ores clusters or no zinc

Describe the Bug
When the world generation is active I get giant clusters of ores like about 9 or 10 stacks of gold, iron, zinc, copper. It generate as a striated ore blob. I tried to deactivate the WorldGen option, but then zinc will not spawn in the world.
Reproduction Steps
1.Enable create Worldgen
2.Find a cave
3.Giant ore blob
4.Disable Worldgen
5.Create new World
6.Find no Zinc
Expected Result
Get a bunch of ores, which seems kinda cheaty or Get no stones/zinc add by the mod

Additional Context
In older versions of the mod the world gen config was more detailed and we could control the striated generation:
But now we just get the option to turn it off:
But if you turn it off the mod turns unplayable by itself, because you don't get zinc hence no more brass.
