Describe the Suggestion

Right now DLs are quite limited in their ability to read data from a command block and only read out and display info from Scoreboard which it does take some setup and knowledge to make it work too!!

I was making a custom spawn for a modded server and i wanted to make a huge display board sign that has various info about the server and i wanted to add a player total/online count or list, from the /list command!

I fiddled around with commands and even tried to setup the scoreboard thingy after looking into various tutorials and what not but i ultimately failed!!
If there is a way to do it please point me to the right direction if it's possible!!

Are there any plans to add more functionality for DLs on command blocks?

If not please consider it as a future update maybe!!
eg.
for the /list command
option 1: Fully Detailed: "There are X of a max of X players online: Player list with each name on a separate line"
option 2: Player list only: Displays just the player list in separate lines
option 3: Player Count/Total: Displays just the current amount of online players next to total capacity like eg. 12/32
or more customization options of similar context that can help server admins/owners setup builds with the info they want on displays so it can serve the kind of vibe or theme they're going for!!
