I made a cart assembler with a deployer (to place its own rails) but for some reason it doesnt work i m playing on a modpack valhesia 3 i dont know if it is from the modpack or if there was a change for the way deployers work

yes sorry it was from the modpack i downloaded only the mod and tried it on a different world and it worked
