Sticky Mechanical Pistons break and drop items (piston and extension poles) when server is empty.

Description

When a sticky mechanical piston is set to extend and retract with a redstone clock it will break if there are no players on the server. I have noticed this also happens when the dimension the contraption is in is unoccupied for long enough. This device does not break when players are online.

To reproduce:

  1. Power a gearshift with a redstone clock
  2. Connect gearshift to a mechanical sticky piston, and attach any number of extension poles
  3. Leave the server, wait a few seconds, and then reconnect to the server

The debug information section was generated on my primary server, but I have also been able to reproduce this issue without any additional mods; just Create on Minecraft Forge. The same Minecraft, forge, and mod versions are listed below.
