The Brabbage Engine was (and is, for some historical purposes) the first computer. It used mechanical logic to process equations and produce outputs. The Sequenced Gearshift in Create is similar to that, following a preprogrammed series of actions. I was thinking this could be taken one step further by creating a reactive Sequenced Gearshift: one that executes any one of sixteen actions based on what signal strength it receives. This could be immensely useful for creating large robotic cranes and other types of complex multi-action structures.
