Seems the create mod and optifine are incompatible.

Obviously not having optifine is a bit of a dealbreaker. Just made this issue for all the people looking for Ticking block entity errors.

Is this fixable?

I also managed to fix by using the latest optifine, 1.16.5_HD_U_G7_pre4

When i download that version it just says its not supported and disables it.

Reverse forge to 35.1.36, 35.1.37 is the cause

I had the same issue on my server running 35.1.37 on both server and client. reversing client back to 35.1.36 solved the problem

Id advise against using the wrong minor version of optifine over downgrading forge within the same minor version.

Use 1.16.4 Optifine and Forge 35.1.6 for Minecraft 1.16.4. This combination is confirmed to work.
