conveyor belts crushing the game and destroying the world

i was trying to build a cool platform to go up and down on my base, but since i wanted to figure the mod out, i created a creative world, all was good until i tried placing a conveyor belt.
the frame it was placed, the game froze and crashed, rebooted the game, tried reopening the world, it crushed instantly again, after that, i created another creative world and tried putting conveyor belts again, surprisingly, it worked just fine, the problem came when i destroyed it, it also crashed the game and again, the world insta-crashes if i try to open it
TL;DR placing or destroying conveyor belts crashes the game badly
