ticking block crash

Basically whenever I "run" multiple "machines" that tick e.g. a cogwheel or a shaft my game/client crash because of ticking block but the server runs with no problems whatsoever. And when I try to rejoin my client crashes again.

Detailed walkthrough:

First encounter: Windmill was spinning and I logged out near the moving shafts. After I logged back in the next day my client crashed because of ticking block. I fixed the problem by removing the block using Amulet.

Second encounter: I was placing some large and small cogwheels while the windmill is running to improve the spinning speed for the mechanical mixer to work and my client crashed for the same reason as before. Again I removed the block causing the crash.

Third encounter: I was also placing some cogwheels but this time while the windmill was not spinning and I had no crash but as soon as I started the windmill my client crashed again.

Note: I cant remember correctly but a certain number of cogwheels work together without crashing but after exceeding that amount my client crash because of ticking block. I think 6 or 5 cogwheels varying from:
small -> big -> small -> big -> small -> big -> and the last one (small) causes crash

Since then I have not touched create and am waiting for an update to hopefully fix the problem.

Just updated to the latest release of optifine for 1.16.5 and its not happening anymore.

Will the latest 1.16.5 Optifine version work with 1.16.4?

commented

The ticking entity crashes are caused by Forge.
Do not use Forge 35.1.37 or 36.0.7. There are potentially other versions of Forge that are not working at the moment, but for 1.16.5 and 1.16.4 FML 36.0.1 and 35.1.36 work respectively.
Do not mix minor versions of Optifine and Minecraft (1.16.4 with 1.16.5 or vice versa).
I know for a fact that Forge 36.0.1 and Optifine 1.16.5 HD U G6 on Minecraft 1.16.5, and Forge 35.1.36 and Optifine 1.16.4 HD U G6 on Minecraft 1.16.4 work with Create v0.3e.

So im currently using forge-35.1.37 for my 1.16.4 modpack and if I downgrade forge it should work?

Yes, downgrade to 35.1.36 or update Minecraft to 1.16.5 and FML 36.0.1. Of the two, I would suggest updating to 1.16.5 if there are no out-of-date mods.

Well then I will have to do some checking because its a big list of mods but thank you ๐Ÿ‘

So quick Update: I downgraded to forge-35.1.36 and everything worked just fine. I couldn't update to 1.16.5 because there were still some mods that weren't updated to that erosion yet.
So issue closed
