Mechanical Piston unable to move Cart Assembler

Mechanical piston contraptions can't move Cart Assembler blocks.
In one situation a cart assembler and rail on top of a sticky linear chassis will prevent the piston from pushing.
In another situation a cart assembler and rail superglued to a block will break when moved.
