Portable Energy Interface doesn't send energy to Immersive Engineering connectors

Describe the bug
The PEI can get energy and charge the contraption, but won't send back any energy through IE's connectors.
This mod's connectors work fine but I don't wanna have to use two kinds of connectors.

Here the accumulator in the contraption has more than 1M fe. I captured the fraction of a second it stops in the PEI. Then it immediately continues without discharging into any of the other (empty) accumulators.

Maybe if it worked like this mod's accumulators and pushed energy to adjacent blocks.
