Trying to send friend request after being banned results in a client crash

Steps to reproduce

1. log in to chat with other users in it
2. say the word "dumb" and get banned
3. (chat is preserved but not updated) right click a name in the chat and send a friend request

Expected behaviour

Sending friend requests either isnt possible for users not connected to the server or upon the attempt, the exception is handled and communicated to the user
