Posting to chat returns 'error formatting line, Please report this issue to the issue tracker'

Steps to reproduce

1: Enter MineTogether chat.
2: Say anything.

Expected behaviour

I was expecting to see what I was saying.

Additional Information

As shown in the screenshot above, other people are able to see what I post, however, I cannot. The first error was me saying 'test' and the second was asking if people could see what I was saying, which received a sarcastic response.
