One thing I miss from the old Chickens mod and Roost companion mod was the ability to place an egg into a nest and allow it to hatch over time versus crafting the dyed eggs, throwing them and hoping for the best. Instead of hoping for favor from the RNG gods, one just needed a little patience. This was especially helpful in early-game in modpacks where the chickens were meant to be a main focus for resource generation.
