Is there currently a way to adjust the lay speed in a roost? It seems way too fast. You will get all slots filled in no time (literal seconds) with max stats on a max stack of chickens. If there is no option like this, I would suggest implementing it. LayCoefficient does seem to only affect laying in world and not in a roost.

As far as I'm aware, there is no setting to adjust the lay speed inside a roost. As you've sort of hinted at, it can be managed by changing the number of chickens in the roost, and/or using chickens with different stats (higher to speed things up, lower to slow down). For myself, I actually feel at times that the laying speed is too slow, particularly with some of the metal chickens where they lay nuggets instead of ingots.

Maybe im looking at the wrong chicken mod, but the one in ftb one feels way too op. Especially with iron. A friend managed to get a full stack of maxed iron chickens in a few hours and then never had to dig for iron anymore...
Anyway, a speed option that can go both ways would satisfy both of us I guess 🙂
