Description of your suggestion.
I am hoping there can be some form of compatibility with the Bewitchment mod. They also add salt, but not for eating. Their salt is for keeping non-humans at bay. They also have garlic that is used for garlic bread and such, when making modpacks I avoid overlap with multiples of the same type of things because it can be confusing for players. I do not see a config option to disable certain things. If it was possible to I would simple just disable salt, garlic and any other conflicting recipe from your mod, but I cannot seem to see if this is possible.
Hopefully there can either be some form of compatibility or ability to disable some foods and blocks. I noticed there is a option to disable salt in the config, but it still spawns and is needed for recipes. I know in my last post issue I talked about this also, I see you fixed the book entry for pan and pot though thanks so much for that!
Let me know what you think, thanks so much for your hard work on the mod :)
I feel like datapacks can achieve just about everything that you're wanting here. You can create a datapack and override my loot tables and recipes to point to the mod you want instead, so while the items still exist they'd be invisible to the end user
Ahh ok. I will have to look into this. I have never really used data packs before. Thanks for the heads up! Once I learn about these and how to do this I'm sure I will be able to use your mod. Everyone on the server will be very happy :) thanks again for the reply! It is much appreciated.
