Using 0.4.0 on Fabric 0.11.3, MC 1.16.5, I get errors like this bloating my console -

They all seem to mention the same missingno.png
0.5.0 doesn't print a message when getting metadata for virtual sprites so I'll assume this issue has been resolved. Open a new one if this is still happening, thanks.
This should be fixed in the latest version, 0.5.0. Let me know if it keeps happening.
missingno means that a texture couldn't be found. I will try to make this clearer in future versions of the mod. If you join the Discord server or send your resource pack I can help resolve the issue.

The following two packs use Optifine CTM format, so they will not work with this mod. You can try use Connected Block Textures in conjunction with this mod to be able to use both formats.

Also, https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/modded-connected-ctm adds connected textures for blocks from other mods that don't exist on Fabric. I assume this is where the spam comes from, as CTMF tries to scan and process all .mcmeta files but the base texture doesn't actually exist. I'll do some testing and hopefully the next update should have this fixed.
Cool, thanks for the info. I was actually using the Connected Block Textures mod previously, but it recently stopped working and the author seems to not have time to update it to 1.16.5. Then I noticed your mod had an update, so I switched to using this. I just found another unofficial update for CBT though, so I'll give that a try and see if it plays nice with your mod. I'll also disable the "ctm mods" resource pack temporarily 'till your next update.
Edit: I tested CBT, seems to play nice with CTM-F so far. However, disabling the "ctm mods" resourcepack didn't stop the missingno spam (although I think it might have reduced it). Which is fine. I'll just cross my fingers for the next update.

Edit: I haven't went public with it yet (playtesting with a few people I know) but should you want to test it I can probably get you an export when I have some time, for easy install (I use GDLauncher, but Curseforge/Overwolf should technically work too unless GDLauncher people borked something).
