As the title said, the CullLessLeaves' settings aren't used with OptiFine — seemingly being replaced with OptiFine's settings. I really need this mod for better performance without ruining the beauty of trees.

If you are using Optifine, use Smart Leaves. This mod doesn't and will not support optifine on fabric.
