Bug with Origins compat?

Versions (Be specific, do not write "latest"):

  • Curios:
  • curios-fabric-0.0.11-1.16.4
  • Forge/Fabric:
  • fabric-loader-0.11.1-1.16.5

Observed Behavior:

Origins mod allows for origins that restrict armor levels based on defense given. This means that the default origin "Elytrian" can only wear armor with defense of chainmail and less. You physically can't click diamond or netherite into the armor slot. But when you open the curio menu it suddenly breaks it and allows you to bypass this.

I am not sure if this is a bug with Origins or Curios so I apologize and already plan on putting this on both just in case. I'm just sorry if I waste time here as I lack the knowledge to know which mod is responsible.

Expected Behavior:

The armor slots in the Curio menu should work like the ones in the vanilla inventory menu so that it doesn't override other mods restrictions? I think. I don't know the technical part, sorry.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Install Curio and Origins
  2. Open Curio menu
  3. Place any armor into armor slots.
