[Bug]: game crashes anytime i put a item on in the curious menu

What happened?
i tried putting my elytra on with extra slots it crashes/ tried to put a belt on and it crashed so i cant equip items on, i dont know why it crashes but its like i cant equip anything through curious inventory menu.
