Please fix this if you can. Maybe you could add the option to add normal maps and specular maps to the editor if this would be possible.

Couldn't replicate your issue on Optifine MC1.18.2
I was able to break the PBR differently although.

This happens to the models SOMETIMES on world loading. PBR support seems to confuse models into being PBR enabled. This only happens on LABPBR and SEUSPBR regardless of resourcepack.

Generated PBR seems to work well, if not a lil weird, but that's just how generations is. I'm uncertain if the shader knows if CPM models are entities or not although.

it works like you showed in 1.18.2 but my issue happens when using 1.8.9.

I was using 1.8.9

1.8.9 doesn't have Optifine shader support, you have to use at least 1.16 to have support for shaders.

Do you have any intentions to add 1.8.9 shader support? /gen /lh

I noticed that shadows don't effect me under the circumstances of this issue.
