A way to provide "auto" or symmetry tools between symmetric parts and object trees. for this, i thought of the following:

A tag that links a part to another, similarly to [CT], opens a settings menu when adding the effect to choose a partner part and its options. Marks a pair of parts as [L] and [R]. Its purpose is to aid and quicken the creative process by providing symmetry tools.

(the Menu)

  • A selector for the part to to pair with.

  • Which axis to mirror

  • Mirror modeling option. (toogable in the settings menu) Cubes created inside an [L] part will be automatically created and modified mirrored in its [R] counterpart.


Animation:

  • In animation tab, an option for part poses to be copy-pasted between each other, mirrored. (Say, you can make a run cycle, copy the animation frame of a [L] part, (an arm? a leg?) and paste it mirrored for its [R] counterpart.

  • In animation tab, a "mirror animation frame" that respects [R] and [L] parts respectively with their assigned axis.
