So i accidentally removed both my arms, so i had to kill myself to get them back. I did /kill and when i respawn i die instantly with the message "Idiot101300's body took revenge". this happens every time i respawn from the previous death creating a frustrating infinite loop.

is this supposed to happen?

Most likely not, you're probably going to have to reset your .dat file or remove the mod, load the world then reinstall.
To reset your .dat file you're going to have to create another world, go to world's said save and copy the .dat file into your current world (MAKE A BACKUP OF THE OLD .dat FILE). The .dat file stores all of the player information, so the world will be fine, but anything in your inventory or ender chests will be gone. Then again your items dropped on the ground when you died so that shouldn't be a problem.
